A hand-drawn envelope sealed with wax and filled with lavender

the front porch notes

hello, neighbor.

The porch light’s on.
Come on in.

Every month, I’ll send a letter from my porch to yours, along with a few thoughtfully chosen things meant to remind us that some of life’s best moments can’t be downloaded.

Imagine...

Opening your mailbox...

Making a cup of coffee...

Watching the sun come up from the porch...

Putting on a little music...

Trying a new recipe over the weekend...

Lingering around the dinner table a little longer...

If you just pictured yourself doing every one of those things... welcome, neighbor.

Maybe you’ll find something here you didn’t realize you missed.

A little while ago...

I started feeling like something was missing.

Not in a dramatic way.

Just...

like life had gotten a little louder,
a little faster,
and a little more digital than I ever meant for it to.

So I started The Front Porch Notes.

Every month, I’ll tuck a few thoughtful things into an envelope...

A letter from me.

Something to make.

Something to listen to.

Something to enjoy.

Something to share.

And every so often... a little surprise.

My hope is that every envelope gives you one small reason to linger a little longer over the ordinary moments that are so easy to rush past.

Not because I think you need another subscription.

But because I think you deserve something worth looking forward to.

Something meant to be held...
not scrolled.

See you on the porch,

Michelle
